Havas is one of the world’s largest marketing communications groups with over 20,000 staff in 100 countries. As part of the Better Together workplace strategy, Havas bring together all its communications agencies under one roof to create the Havas Village, a place where agencies can collaborate across discipline for clients without boundaries to make a meaningful difference to brands, businesses and people.
POMT worked with Havas and the local project team, including Hammond Studio, on the initial strategy for the Sydney Village. POMT brought a workplace technology perspective to the physical design. Working within global standards we challenged technical constraints and pushed boundaries suggesting virtual solutions for collaboration and communication to bring together multiple teams within the group both in the space and across the states.
POMT also worked with Havas’ creative teams to bring an experiential perspective to the physical design integrating concepts such as the entry feature, theatre and all staff Town Hall space which could flex between a café, bar, event and experience centre. We then worked with the Havas technical teams to solution the backend systems to support these requirements.
Post design we transitioned into a delivery capacity implementing AV, Conferencing and Collaboration, Workspace Management and Media Distribution physical and virtual solutions. One of the key elements was leveraging the power of the Zoom ecosystem to provide a consistent presentation and conferencing experience without compromising the quality and clarity required for media / creative content.
With multiple agencies within the Village a key objective was unifying communication for staff. Havas needed a medium to communicate bottom up and top down across the group so POMT proposed and implemented Workplace from Facebook to drive connection. Now Havas teams have a single source of group wide communication and connection no matter what other tools they might use individually. This provides a platform for the intended purpose of the Havas Village.
