With the relocation of its Sydney head office in 2013, TAL had the opportunity to create a new office space to reflect this passion. TAL wanted workspace management, AV and collaboration solutions to enhance its people-focused culture and enable flexible working practices. At the same time, to reduce risk and ensure manageability, these new systems had to be integrated with TAL’s existing IT applications and infrastructure.
TAL was founded in 1869, and is Australia’s life insurance specialist. Today, TAL insures more than 3.7 million Australians and in 2015, reached a new milestone paying over $1 billion in claims. TAL employs 1600 people across six offices around Australia, and partners with financial advisers and super funds with one shared goal: to protect the lives of Australians and give them choices when they need them most.
TAL’s new Sydney head office is located across nine floors, comprising over 100 meeting rooms and collaborative spaces. Peace of Mind Technology (POMT) was engaged by TAL’s IT team, working with TAL on initial solution strategy and design, implementation and ongoing support. POMT has also been engaged to upgrade and support the meeting rooms and collaborative spaces in TAL’s Melbourne office.
